But, whatever your reason, there are few pastimes as iconic and truly Australian as sitting on the banks of the Darling-Baaka River, wetting a line, and watching the world pass you by in the peace and tranquillity of the outback.

There are Murray Cod and plenty of Yellowbelly in these waters - you might have to ask a local what the best bait is on the day, but you could catch yourself some dinner!
